Enquiry to CRM record
How an enquiry becomes a CRM record without creating the duplicate contacts that quietly make pipeline reporting meaningless six months later.
An Appnox product · Sales operations
PipeClose is an AI-assisted sales follow-up application built around the CRM you already run. Structured enquiry capture, clear consultant ownership, and a reviewed next action rather than a queue nobody owns.
The problem
Quotes go out and then nothing happens, because the next action belonged to nobody in particular and the consultant who sent it is deep in something else.
A quote is sent and the next action exists only in someone's memory.
Ownership is ambiguous when an enquiry moves between people or channels.
Follow-up quality varies between consultants and nobody can see it happening.
Replies and opt-outs do not reliably stop a sequence already in motion.
CRM records are created inconsistently, so pipeline reporting is not believed.
A deal is discovered to have gone cold at the monthly review rather than at the time.
An Appnox product
PipeClose is developed, invested in and reported on separately from Appnox consulting engagements. Its capability is never presented as evidence of consulting delivery, and consulting outcomes are never presented as product performance. Keeping those apart matters more than it might appear: conflating them is how buyers end up with a product bought on the strength of a bespoke build they will never receive.
The commercial model is also different. Consulting engagements are scoped and quoted; the product carries licensing and setup that are confirmed in a proposal. Where a custom workflow around your existing CRM would serve you better than the product, we will say so — that is a different engagement with different economics, and pretending otherwise serves nobody.
Before you buy
This page does not assert a feature list, because the current capability, setup work and licensing are confirmed in a proposal rather than on a marketing page. These are the things worth insisting on seeing in a demonstration — of PipeClose or of anything competing with it.

How an enquiry becomes a CRM record without creating the duplicate contacts that quietly make pipeline reporting meaningless six months later.
02
How a consultant reviews an AI-prepared response or task — and how long that review actually takes, measured rather than described.
03
How replies, opt-outs and confirmed bookings elsewhere halt further follow-up. Getting this wrong damages relationships and, depending on jurisdiction, the compliance position.
04
Which of your current CRM and communication interfaces are genuinely supported today, as opposed to on a roadmap.
Honest limits
PipeClose can help a sales team follow through consistently. It cannot guarantee a booking, and you should be cautious of any product in this space that implies otherwise.
No follow-up tool compensates for unavailable inventory, an unsuitable offer, a price the market will not bear, or a customer who never had the intention or the consent to proceed. Where a pipeline is failing for one of those reasons, better follow-up makes the failure faster rather than smaller.
The honest position is narrower and more useful: where opportunities are being lost to inconsistent follow-through rather than to commercial reality, this category of product helps. Establishing which of those you are facing is a twenty-minute conversation, and it is free.
Availability, current feature set, setup work and licensing are confirmed in a proposal. Product capability is never presented as evidence of consulting delivery, or the reverse.
Before we talk
PipeClose is an existing Appnox product name. Nothing on this page asserts a separate ready-made travel edition. Availability, current features, setup work and licensing are confirmed in the proposal, and if a travel-specific capability matters to you, ask for it to be demonstrated rather than described.
No. It is designed to work around the CRM you already run. Which interfaces are supported is something to establish before purchase rather than after, and it is the single most common reason a tool in this category disappoints.
The intended posture is that follow-up is prepared and a consultant approves it. Unattended sending is something to enable deliberately once the prepared version has been running and the stop conditions have proven reliable — not a default to switch on during onboarding.
It depends on how unusual your process is and how much of it the product already covers. A free call is enough to form a view. We would rather tell you the product does not fit than sell you a licence you will abandon — an abandoned licence costs us the renewal and the reference.
Licensing and setup are confirmed in a proposal, because both depend on the interfaces involved and the setup work required. For context, production engineering engagements at Appnox start at USD 25,000; the product is a different commercial model and is quoted separately.
